Administrative Officer Maria Fe Capistrano represented Pilmico Foods Corporation and Aboitiz Group Foundation, Inc. during the awarding ceremony brought by Department of Education last June 7, 2006 at DepEd's Office in Aguinaldo St., Iligan City.

Among those present in this momentous affair were Iligan City Mayor Lawrence Cruz, DepEd Regional Director Estrella Babano and Congressman Representative Atty. Nikki Badelles-Bacareza. This was the first time that the Region 10 Department of Education gave a recognition to all of its benefactors.

An Adopt-A-School multimedia presentation was shown before the distribution of the plaques. This showcased the various donations made not only by private firms but also by organizations, foundations, businessmen and individuals as well.

Pilmico-AGFI representative Maria Fe Capistrano made the response in behalf of all the honorees. She renewed the commitment of the honorees to support the cause for education.
