The BIR’s Large Taxpayers District Office - Cebu recently cited Aboitiz-owned flour milling company, Pilmico Foods Corporation, as one of the Top Large Taxpayers with the highest percentage of voluntary compliance on its income tax payments for the calendar year 2005.

Pilmico President Antonio Moraza received a special plaque of recognition from LTDO-Cebu in an awarding ceremony held yesterday afternoon at the SM City Cebu’s Conference Halls.

Other Aboitiz companies accorded the same recognition in said ceremony were power firms Visayan Electric Company (VECO) and Davao Light & Power Company (DLPC). The awarding ceremony was held on the occasion of LTDO-Cebu’s fourth anniversary celebration.
