The lligan City Government once again recognized Aboitiz flour milling company, Pilmico Foods Corporation as the number one taxpayer of Iligan for the manufacturing category during its 57th Adlawan sa Iligan Commemorative Programme last June 16, 2007.

Shown in the picture is Pilmico Vice President for Operations Reano Gumalo receiving a plaque of recognition from the Iligan City Mayor Lawrence Cruz for being Iligan’s top taxpayer. This marks the second consecutive year Pilmico Foods was lauded by the local city government.

In a separate ceremony, Pilmico was also acknowledged for its exemplary performance in the field of corporate social responsibility for 2006. Pilmico has always actively contributed to the upliftment of the local community through its community relations projects.
