The next time you drop by the Iligan offices of
the Department of Education, Culture and Sports and the local
Register of Deeds, you might just notice that paperworks processing
are now a bit faster. Both government offices are recent recipients
of computer set donations from Iligan-based flour miller Pilmico
Foods Corporation.
The equipment were formally turned over to DECS and Register of
Deeds representatives during a simple turnover ceremony at the
Pilmico Bakery Training Center last March 13, 2006. Present during
the ceremony were Pilmico VP-Operations Reano Gumalo, Pilmico
Administrative Officer Fe Capistrano, DECS Division Superintendent
Dr. Lourdes Tolod, DECS Administrative Officer 5 Edna Saarenas and
Register of Deeds representative Atty. Benedict Ratunil.
Pilmico's generosity is not limited to within Iligan boundaries as
it is also set to donate another computer set to a PNP station in
Bukidnon this month.
