Pilmico Flour and
Diamond
Bakery Ingredients recently paid tribute to mothers
everywhere by treating them to a baking demo last May 10, 2003 at
the Entertainment Plaza of SM City – Cebu.
This baking event was a joint project with Cebu Culinary
Center and University of San Carlos – South Grade School PTA.
The free baking demo kicked off a series of activities
organized by SM City – Cebu for their two-day Mother’s Day
Special.
Miss Theresa Gallardo of Cebu Culinary Center
performed the baking demo and delighted the audience with a
mouthwatering recipe of Crackle
Top Cookies, using various products like Pilmico Megastar soft wheat flour and Diamond bakery
ingredients.
Also presented during the demo was Piso Pan de Sal, Pilmico’s
recipe of the Filipino’s favorite breakfast staple using the very
affordable Pilmico
Kutitap bread flour. The new Kutitap flour will make it
possible for bakeries to heed President Arroyo’s call to maintain
the price of pan de sal at only P1
each while still maintaining a profitable margin.
