Pilmico donates computers to local government agencies
The next time you drop by the Iligan offices of the Department of
Education, Culture and Sports and the local Register of Deeds, you
might just notice that paperworks processing are now a bit faster.
Both government offices are recent recipients of computer set
donations from Iligan-based flour miller Pilmico Foods Corporation.
Gawad Kalinga Donation
Pilmico Foods Corporation and the Aboitiz Group Foundation, Inc. (AGFI)recently
made a PhP 70,000 cheque donation to the local Gawad Kalinga
Project.
San Roque Church Repair
Pilmico Foods Corporation, through the Aboitiz Group Foundation,
Inc. (AGFI), recently made a PhP 50,000 cheque donation to the San
Roque Church in Barangay Kiwalan, Iligan City.
Educational Multimedia Showcase Donation to Dalipuga National High
School
Pilmico Foods Corporation, through the Aboitiz Group Foundation,
Inc. (AGFI), recently turned over a 29” colored TV unit, a Samsung
DVD player and a series of educational CD materials to Dalipuga

recognized as one of Cebu’s Top Tax Contributors
The BIR’s Large Taxpayers District Office - Cebu recently cited
Aboitiz-owned flour milling company, Pilmico Foods Corporation, as
one of the Top Large Taxpayers with the highest percentage of
voluntary compliance on its income tax payments for the calendar
year 2005.

Center Announces 2006 Training Schedule
The Pilmico Baking Center in Iligan City wishes to announce the
Diamond Bakery Training schedule for 2006. All bakers and
bakery-owners alike are invited to join one of the 4 Diamond Bakery
Training schedule for next year which are as follows: May 15-27,
July 10-22, September 11-23 and November 13-25.
Gardenia tops 36th batch of
Diamond Bakery Training
Ms. Christine T. Cariaga of Gardenia tops the 36th batch to graduate
from the two-week Diamond Bakery Training at the Pilmico Baking
Center in Iligan. Pilmico offered a free two-week baking seminar in
Iligan last September 5 to 17, 2005 as part of the company’s program
to intensify its customer service.

In recent years, people are becoming more and more health-conscious.
People have begun going to gyms and spas to keep fit and have become
carefully selective in the food they eat.
A “Customer First”
Baking Seminar
As part of its customer service program, Pilmico recently conducted
a “Customer First Baking Seminar” in Lucena at the JM Tsuki
Restaurant last April 23, 2005 which was attended by more than 80
bakers from Cavite to as far as Marinduque.

together with sponsors Goodman Fielder and Joe Kuan Corporation
brought it Bakery Training program from Iligan to Manila for one-day
Diamond Bakery Training to at the Asian Baking Institute last July
16, 2005 attended by more than 50 participants ranging from its
bakery to industrial accounts.

ILIGAN - based Aboitiz companies Pilmico Foods Corp. and Pilmico
Mauri-foods Corp. joined the ranks of world-class organizations as
they are now ISO 9001:2000 and Hazard Analysis Critical Control
Point-certified.

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) of Cebu City recently accorded
the CY 2003 Super Grower Award to Pilmico Foods Corporation. The
Aboitiz-owned flour milling company was recognized for its
“…unqualified support to the country’s economic developmental
efforts.”

The Pilmico Baking Center in Iligan City is proud to announce the
seminar schedules of the Diamond Bakery Trainings for 2004.
36 Bakers
Graduate from Pilmico Baking Center
The Pilmico Baking Center in Iligan City recently announced the new
graduates of its first two bakery training seminars for year 2004. A
total of 36 participants from various parts of Visayas and Mindanao
joined the bakery trainings held last January 5-17 and March 1-13.
Among those who topped the trainings were Manolito Ringor of Verstar
Marketing and Lyndon See Diet of Dipolog Friendly Mart.

Computer Laboratory in Iligan City
Pilmico Foods Corporation through the Aboitiz , Inc. (AGFI),
recently donated a computer laboratory to Severo Sara Memorial
School in Iligan City. Together with Lexmark International, Pilmico
donated computers, chairs, tables and printers to the school.

Bakers Graduate from Pilmico Baking Center The
Pilmico Baking Center in Iligan City recently announced the new
graduates of its two-week bakery training held from May 5 – 16,
2003. The new batch consisted of 18 bakers from various parts of the
country. Among those
who topped the training were Erlinda Tan & Mary Joy Navarro of
Breadmart Inc in Davao and Cleo June Bordalba of D’Bread Maker in
Davao.

Bakery Ingredients recently paid tribute to mothers
everywhere by treating them to a baking demo last May 10, 2003 at
the Entertainment Plaza of SM City – Cebu.
This baking event was a joint project with Cebu Culinary
Center and University of San Carlos – South Grade School PTA.
The free baking demo kicked off a series of activities
organized by SM City – Cebu for their two-day Mother’s Day
Special.
