19 Bakers Graduate from Pilmico Baking Center

The Pilmico Baking Center in Iligan City recently announced the new graduates of its two-week bakery training held last September 1 – 13, 2003. On the 28th run of the Diamond Bakery Training, 19 bakers from various parts of Visayas and Mindanao participated in the program. Among those who topped the training were Aicha Idmilao of Carlo’s Bakeshop in Iloilo City, Ray Arquisola of Julie’s Bakeshop in Cagayan de Oro City, and John Anthony Junio of Dough It Right Bakery in Palawan.

The two-week bakery training includes both practical and technical lessons from bakery management to bakery mathematics. The course is ably facilitated by well-experienced Pilmico technicians who have undergone advanced technical baking training at the American Institute of Baking in Kansas, USA and the UFM Baking School in Bangkok, Thailand.
