Procedure:
- Mix all the
ingredients.

Knead the dough until smooth and elastic.

Divide dough into 2
portions. Add the following to one portion:
- ¼ cup cocoa
- 1 tsp. chocolate
brown food color.
- Knead until smooth.
Allow rising until double in bulk- about 45 mins. to 1
hour.
- Punch down dough.
Divide into 2 portions. Roll out the chocolate and the
plain dough.
- Put the chocolate
dough over the plain dough. Roll and form into loaf.
Brush top with egg or milk wash.
- Make slits or cuts on
top of dough.
- Sprinkle streusel
topping. Allow rising for another 45 mins. until
double in bulk.
- Bake at 375 oF for 20
mins. or until done.
Streusel Topping:
Mix together:
- 1/3 cup margarine
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tbsp. BOS or butter or
margarine
- 2/3 cup sugar
